11 As they were going along and talking, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
12 When Elisha saw it, he cried out: “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then Elisha took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.
13 Then he picked up the cloak that had fallen from Elijah.

→ Elisha saw Elijah being taken up → Elisha received the Spirit of Elijah → he called Elijah “father”.

Numbers 11:25

Then YHWH came down in the cloud and spoke to him, and He took of the Spirit that was upon him and put it upon the seventy elders. And when the Spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, but they did not continue.

John 1:32

And John bore witness, saying:
“I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it remained upon Him.
33 And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descend and remain upon Him, this is the One who immerses in the Holy Spirit.’
34 And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

→ John saw the Spirit resting upon Jesus and remaining → John testified that Jesus is the Son of God.

Seal on the forehead, in the name, is one.

John 8:29

And He who sent Me is with Me; the Father has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that please Him.

→ God is always with Jesus (supplementing “the Spirit remains” upon Jesus).
Different from the seventy elders, because it did not continue with them.

“You are doing the works of your father.”
They said to Him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father—God.”

→ The Jews also acknowledge God as Father.

Jesus said to them:
“If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth and come from God; for I did not come of Myself, but He sent Me.
43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you cannot hear My word.
44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.
46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
47 He who is of God hears the words of God. For this reason you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

Personal viewpoint:

• The one who gives the Spirit → father; the one who receives the Spirit → son
• Jesus is Son because He received the Spirit of God
• We receive the Spirit of Jesus, therefore we are children of YHWH (explaining the article about Saul the Benjaminite)
• Receiving the spirit of Satan → becoming children of Satan
• Paul: a murderer from the beginning, truth is not in him, a liar and the father of lies

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us;
